Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of Spiritual & Energetic Healing energy. Life Force Energy. Just as the Yoga Path refers to the healing force of Prana, the Hawaiin culture refers to Manna, and the Chinese Tradtions refer to the Life Force of Chi. Cultures from all around the World have words to describe LIFE FORCE ENERGY. In the West many call this loving, nurturing and healing energy...GRACE. Traditional Reiki combines a series of hand positions, symbols, and attunements, to prepare a person to channel this life force through them to the recipient. Reiki lowers blood pressure, slows our hearts & deepens breathing, this provides the conditions in which our body can heal itself easily and quickly. Reiki is used in palliative care wards, hospices and cancer clinics. Many medical professionals have recognized the value of Reiki treatments in the recovery process of patients. I gave my father Reiki treatments often during his illness, he loved it, it provided comfort, and he rested more comfortably after a session. He asked me to channel Reiki at the moment of his death. This was truly an honour. It reassured him & eased his distress, as well as my own. It was one of the most beautiful & powerful moments of my life. Reiki eases symptoms related to stress, now how could this NOT be helpful in our busy and loaded lives! I urge you to try it.....
